TikTok Phenomenon: Part 1

Impossible to understand - and even more impossible to describe - one thing's for sure... there's no denying the BOOMING popularity of TikTok. With 80 MILLION active users worldwide, it rivals platforms like Netflix, YouTube and Facebook.

I am delighted to be joined by Professor Cell Dilon (Stamford International University) to unpack this topic, and to chat through how TikTok is changing the direction of the social media industry.

We discuss questions like:

  1. Is TikTok killing or enhancing our creativity?
  2. Is TikTok less about social MEDIA than it is about social ENTERTAINMENT?
  3. Does TikTok encourage IMITATION or INNOVATION?

Regardless of whether you think TikTok is the biggest waste of time (the average user spends nearly 60 MINUTES per day on it), or a magical tool with limitless possibility, TikTok is the 2nd most downloaded app worldwide, and it's here to stay.
